This was probably the most unusual hotel that I've ever stayed at. That doesn't mean bad, per say. I can tell that the manager and staff are all really trying. It's not in the greatest part of town but I knew that going in. It's a good place if you need somewhere to sleep and there are a lot of businesses close by. Don't count on all of the bells and whistles but I think the price reflects that fairly.
It would have been nice to have a little better parking area. There was some mold in the bathroom of my room. The elevator was broken and looked to be for some time. This place seems to be struggling a little but they are making it work.
The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV with cable. They are on the right track, it just seems to be problems with tenants and possible issues with funding because I see a lot potential at this location.
The manager is a very friendly and accommodating Vietnamese immigrant from after the Vietnam war. He was kind enough to tell me about his life a little and how he came to become the manager at this location. The manager personally changed my sheets when the housekeeping did not. Every time I asked them for something I was helped and they even changed my room with no problem because my first room didn't have ventilation. The staff are friendly and I can tell that they are trying to make this place work. I wish Gordon Ramsay could go in and point out ways to improve. For what I was there for, this location worked for me.
