"The pool is roof should enclose and disappointed there no hot tub. Some the items in the room or cheap (Lamps). The no refrigerator or microwave in the room weird? The staff in casino very nice."

"The Stanley Hotel is going through major renovation now for the new film center and room expansion. We were offered a room in the Lodge since the main hotel was completely booked. This would have been no problem ordinarily, but with the construction work, we should have been notified that we had absolutely no view or privacy from the windows in our room. Also, because of the construction, parking near the hotel was severely limited, and no guidance was offered regarding alternatives when the lot was full. This was an issue especially in September with the almost daily rains. Secondly, the hotel staff had no information to offer guests about why the construction was happening and details of all of the exciting new things that would soon be coming to the hotel. There were no architectural renditions or models to showcase the new look or marketing materials to get people excited to come back in the future. This seems like a significantly missed marketing opportunity."

"Definitely a great casino. Not as ostentatious as Monarch or the Ameristar mammoth on the hill, but a great staff and a fun casino. Fun gaming. Parking all over the place!"

"We really liked the Wildwood. It was clean, had a fantastic view, and was quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit in the common area after dark. It was a self check in so I can't rate the staff, but it was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the beds were about as comfortable as I've ever slept in. Easy access to both Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Would stay there again."

"Get a room with the sofa in a separate area and balcony facing the mountains. It was beautiful. We watched a heard of elk graze from our deck. Only complaint was the pillows."
