"The main feature of this property is the exquisite view of Mount Fuji and the privacy and serenity of very limited access. That said, the staff are warm and very attentive. The food was excellent and delightfully prepared and presented. The communal bath (which is by reservation) is architecturally interesting and offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Our two days here may have been the quiet highlight of our trip to Japan. "

"Cute little place right by the lake and close to Mt. Fuji! The place was nice and clean. They provide great amenities like bicycle rental and other information for tourists. Staff was very kind as we were allowed to wait for a few hours until our bus came. My highlight was the bath as it was a very traditional experience with the yukata!"

"Great concept for a hotel - one side offers the full view of Mt Fuji, another side offers the thrills of Fuji Speedway. The breakfast is excellent (food & views), with views of Mt Fuji. We signed up for a driving course at Fuji Speedway, which is connected to the hotel. The only issue is that it's quite remote, and it's best to drive there (roads to the hotel are very dark at night). There are no convenience stores such as 7-11 nearby, you have to drive about 2-3kms out to get to the nearest...

"An idyllic classic space with tatami mat floors and traditional layout rooms with modern effects. This place was amazing and made up for our short stay where it was cloudy the entire time so we didn’t see Mt Fujis peak. Walkable to the World Heritage site museum and was the beautiful ending to our vacation. Away from the cities, it was a quaint and ultra clean space. The a/c saved us in the hot and humid summer.
