"This is a standout hotel in Japan. It’s 3 months old and the website does it not justice. The hotel and grounds are spectacular, the facilities (spa, gym, lounges, restaurants) are beautiful. We stayed in a room the size of an apartment, with both an indoor and out hot spa. The hotel manager has 15+ years of experience at Ritz hotel and brings the shame charm, insight and guest experience to the Gora Kadan Fuji. The entire team were delightful, including the wonderful driver who waited for us whilst we visited Fuji-speedway nearby. The food is exceptional. My only regret is we didn’t stay one or two more nights. It was a welcome tonic after the craziness of Tokyo! Hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Book it, you won’t regret it. "

"It was one the most amazing stays of my wanderlust life. The atmosphere, personnel, food, installations and of course the view. We were able to see the Mt. Fuji all the way to the top! Our two meals were something else. The private hot springs are so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend! "
