"The hotel had the perfect set up for a very enjoyable stay near Jiufen Old Street. It was like staying in a hidden four star hotel with a modern clean room, free fully stocked mini bar, great view of the ocean, and friendly staff. "We stayed there for a total of 14 days. The room is very spacious and the staff is very friendly. Everyone is so helpful and going out of their way to help us. The location is great with lots of food and shopping. There’s the MRT, train and high speed train station right below the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Amazing stay at Amba. Right next to Songshan station, 7 mins ride to Taipei Station. super convenient! Amazing view viewing the 101 building from the room. Spatial, everything was new and clean, amazing breakfast!!! Definitely staying here again for my next visit! Loved it, the also provide brand new flip flops to hotel guests, and you may take them away as a souvenir. "

"Highly recommended! I really like the design of the room, and the well design of the common area. Unlimited welcome drinks (tea, wine, ect) and snacks (cookies, cake, etc). Staff are very helpful, my son had nose bleeding in the lobby, they helped out right away, and sent an ice pack to us. Just the view of the hot spring in the balcony got blocked a bit (I think it is a security reason) and the bathroom sink is a bit limited. Also, the price is very beautiful, about $200+/night! "

The breakfast was good, lots of varieties and I love the congee with the accompaniments! The gym was very small with minimal equipment but was expected and enough for a quick workout.
