"The location is good but the room which was a Hollywood sign view room isn’t quite what I expected with the view overlooking mainly the exterior of other buildings with the sign barely visible. The room was very basic but clean and spacious. The bathroom was shower only but again clean and tidy. The hotel appears to be a business hotel and seems to cater around business facilities rather than tourism and lacks the character of other hotels in the area."

"The rooms were very small and the beds were not comfortable. However the location was awesome, house keeping was so nice and helpful. Front desk staff was a bit rigid with some of my reservation issues but one of the ladies was nice enough to move us to a different room. Overall good stay"

"This is a low-security hotel on a main drag in a very urban location. There is no human reception desk, just a screen where a remote worker checks you in. No flip locks or dead bolts on the doors, and the main doors are always open (not key-accessed). I came back after a late night, and found myself walking into an empty hotel that anyone could walk into, with no front desk person watching who was coming and going, walking down a long hallway by myself, then entering a room with no flip lock. For the first time in my life, I braced a chair under the door. Other than that, the hotel is clean, the cleaning staff that I saw the next morning were friendly, and the 24 hour the coffee bar is a nice amenity. If I had been staying with someone - preferably a big, strong someone - I may not have even noticed the low security."

"Very lovely hotel. Love the no tipping policy. Staff are good and friendly. I think the policy that requires you pay half the cost of the room in order to stay two hours longer is ridiculous and the desk staff should be able to grant more time depending on the situation. The cost of the rooms and the amenities don’t really match. There should be package deals for parents of students that decrease the costs. Room service is kind of a joke, it’s just to-go brought to your room. No plates, silverware provided. Not worth the added charge. "

"I’ve stayed at the Sheraton on Universal visits and I can honestly say this place is better. Rooms are more spacious, clean and safe location. Valet parking much faster as well, pool hours are also longer. We found this place to be more convenient and better overall."
