"The beach in front of the hotel is great for swimming. We were able to rent beach umbrellas and chairs from the beach services company right next to the hotel. We usually rented in the morning, they often sold out by the afternoon. Bring swim shoes for the beach, it had some rocks. The breakfast buffet is excellent, it has an omelette station, and fresh made-to-order waffles and pancakes. The seating has a view of the beach. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, the hotel threw a nice party with a DJ. We had a great view of the fireworks from the hotel property. Every interaction with hotel staff was excellent. Overall a great vacation at a historic property. "

"Love this hotel. Our partial ocean view on the 25th floor seemed more like an upgraded ocean view. We had a panoramic view of the NYE fireworks! From our frirndly front desk clerk who taught me some extra S-pen tips on my Samsung, to Chancen at Security who helped locate my lost Garmin watch, to Estrelita who kept our room so clean - we had an amazing stay. The location of the hotel is central to the beach, International Market, dining and car rental. Perfect vacation spot! Will definitely stay here again."
