Isla Contoy, Mexico hotel rooms at the Excellence Resorts

"Check in didn't go very smoothly as we were a family of 5 and requested 2 rooms and they had us in 2 separate buildings. After a couple of discussions, it was finally resolved, and we got adjacent rooms in the same building. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay."

"What was excellent about he property was the service we received. We go to resorts for the pool, and the sevice there from Noe, Alex and Erick. At the restaurants, Jose at Blanca blue was amazing and Martin from Bocados."

"The restaurants provided many wonderful options for high end dining. The beds were perfect and always clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and worked around the clock to ensure you had everything that you needed at all times. My wife and I will be visiting again. "

"Everything was beautiful. There are a couple of things that could be improved, like the showers not having glass doors and water splashed all over the bathrooms and all over the clothes since the closet is located in the bathroom area . But overall, beautiful resort, lots of activities for kids. Love that you can leave them at the daycare and they actually watch them and entertain them by going to cinema for movies and taking them to the splash zone. Restaurants were good as well - staff super friendly and accommodating ( except the check in crew -girls at the front desk could be a bit more nicer in the way they respond) "

"We had dietary restrictions as we only eat halal and they were very good about it. Everyone in the food and beverage were notified and they were really helpful to ensure we had a great experience."

"This property is a medium sized property not too big or too small. It was clean, modern since it was only built in 2022. If you like cleanliness, this is the place for you. The food was good and the restaurants were even better. Geisha was a buffet Asian style restaurant with lots of choices. Milan Italian restaurant with buffet appetizers and then Al la carts menu items. kuliminum was fancy with Al carts options and the steak house restaurant was outdoor/ indoor setting which can be hot depending on temperature outside, but has ceiling fans. Dinner was good. The main Buffett restaurant offered lots of choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. I loved the entertainment they provided and the themed nights. The hotel has a night club which was awesome. This hotel is on the beach so an easy walk from your room. The customer service was awesome. They catered to your needs every need. The Riu themed parties are the best. They are not directly on this hotel ls site, but they shuttle you to attend at RIU caribe. Make sure to sign up for the Riu parties when you arrive so that you have free transportation. Overall a great hotel and location for the price. I would do it again. "
