Spoilt a little as we stayed previously and didn't have to pay for the pool etc. This time however we did as we booked through Expedia, although we tried to book direct there was no room availability. However , the rooms are very small and compact - despite being upgraded we still struggled to work around this room as bathroom very tight and the window sill was used to house the shaving mirror. "

"Every member of staff was so lovely and sweet. The bathrooms were nice and dinner at the hotel was good. My husband and I had the meat platter and burger one night and lasagne and lamb shank our last night. It was good and full filling. There was parking and easy to navigate around the place. Will stay again the next time were 4 hours down south. :) "

"Purbeck hotel was a last minute decision and one I was very happy to have made. I stayed in the lodge, great sized rooms. Staff were lovely and helpful, made me feel at home. Location was great for the town and the Swanage railway, the reason why I was in town. I did not have breakfast as was out early so cannot comment on that side. If I was looking for a negative point then my tv didn’t work (I wasn’t in the room much anyway) and the shower/bath could be better (showerhead needs improvement...
