Hotel Niwa Tokyo
10/10 Excellent
"This is a nice hotel that isn’t in the touristy part of Tokyo. It is down the street from the Tokyo dome and plenty of things to do if you’re looking for a non touristy experience. The staff is friendly and made us feel welcomed."

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower
8/10 Good
"I enjoyed my stay and felt for solo travelers it was almost perfect. The only con I had was that it’s located directly across from a sewage center and in the afternoons the hallways smelled like rotten sewage when walking to your room, but once inside it was okay. They made sure to bring fresh towels and linens daily which was great! The onsen is heavenly! The convenience store is 24/7 and so helpful for those late night cravings. 7-11 is a 5 minute walk up the street and the train is also only a 5 minute walk. There is a money exchange machine onsite which is very convenient. The breakfast buffet is great if you like seafood. Me personally I couldn’t really enjoy it do to my allergies but they offer lots of different options. The staff were friendly. Overall I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again."

Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo
10/10 Excellent
"I can't recommend the Tobu Hotel Levant enough. The location is great, relatively quiet but still with lots to do. Very close to a train station so super easy to travel around Tokyo. There's also a convenient direct bus to Disneyland/Disneysea. We booked a triple room with two beds + sofa bed and it was a really good size with comfortable beds. Best of all was the incredible view of the Skytree we had on the 20th floor. We stayed for nearly two weeks and never got bored of the view. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet had lots of choice. There's plenty of nice places to eat on the road just outside the hotel and a familymart + 7/11 just seconds away from the lobby (and a Lawson just slightly further away)"

Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo
8/10 Good
"This hotel is really fantastic for the price. It's a short walk to two different train stations so the location is quiet but accessible. We arrived on the tail end of a typhoon and they were quick to towel dry our suitcases and offer umbrella bags. Everyone was very hospitable. The hotel room has plenty of free toiletries so no need to worry about forgetting a razor, toothbrush, or anything else. They have them. If you run out of anything, they will bring more in a timely manner. The room wasn't huge, but compared to other hotels in tokyo, it is much more spacious. The AC worked well in our room in the main building and the many lights in the room are all controllable easily from a panel on the wall on both sides of the beds. Minifridge does not have a freezer section. TV allows for screen sharing from your device so we were able to stream from our phones onto the television. There's a FamilyMart convenience store immediately across the street for snacks and such. I wish the hotel had some sort of ice bucket or pitcher in the room though. They had an ice machine on the 4th floor along with vending machines, but no way to contain the ice. They also had tons of washer/dryer combos and irons and steamers on the 4th floor in a community space which was great for wrinkled luggage clothes."

karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION
10/10 Excellent
"We had a last minute issue with another reservation and had to find a room in short notice just for a few hours during a layover. This place was close to Tokyo station. Room and facility was clean. Staff was excelent."

Asakusa Tobu Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We booked the Deluxe Triple Room and had a fantastic stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family based on the location and rooms alone. Pros: - Unbeatable Location: Right next to multiple stations, meaning fewer transfers. A huge highlight is being steps away from the Toei Asakusa Line (direct train to Haneda Airport), the Ginza Line, and the Tobu line for a quick trip to Tokyo Skytree. - Convenient Services: The hotel supports Airporter Same-Day Luggage Delivery as well as Yamato (Ta-Q-Bin) Next-Day Delivery, which made traveling seamless. - Spacious Room & Views: The room was very spacious with two large windows that offered tons of natural light and a great view of the Skytree. - Excellent Staff: The staff were friendly, spoke fluent English, and even accommodated an early check-in for us! - Surrounding Area: Right downstairs from shopping streets and several malls. There are endless food choices, konbinis (convenience stores), drugstores, and souvenir shops nearby. - Amenities: The Wi-Fi was strong, the temperature control worked well, and the new shower head was a great touch. Neutrals / Minor Cons: - Breakfast: The buffet was a bit small and felt a little lacking. - Room Layout: There is no proper closet space, though they make up for it with a coat rack and hooks near the door. - Bedding: The pillows weren't very comfortable, but the beds were firm (which we personally prefer)."
