"The location is beautiful and quiet. It is next to restaurant that the hosts own (they will treat like family. I had one of my best restaurant experiences there) and was never disturbed with noise. The hosts were amazing, available at all times, and very helpful. Walking distance to the lake with great views. "

"The accommodation is clean but basic. It is above the town and it was quite a climb each day. We did not have a car. The Wi-Fi did not work and getting in touch with the company was not good. We did eventually get it working. there was a nice welcome pack for us and a bottle of wine. A visitors guide would have been helpful. It is quiet and comfortable. "

"Beautiful beautiful home! Located 6 minutes away from the center of menaggio. There’s accessible parking & the property is very secured. There are other home owners in the residence, however, we felt like we were alone. The property managers are quick to respond via WhatsApp if you have any questions or can’t figure something out."

"Lots of bugs in the room on our arrival, living conditions arent ideal (electrical issues in the kitchen, sofas are not comfy, doors to balcony are hard to open). Property is spacious though and offers great views of the lake. Driveway is very difficult to get into, even with a small car and especially if its raining as it it steep, narrow and a sharp bend. There is free parking on the road outside but this is often busy. Our pount of communication via whatsapp was excellent and very helpful and...

"Beautiful apartment with nice view. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Unfortunately, no space for dining outdoors since it only has a garden/tea table with 2 chairs. Lock on door is very complicated. Don’t be fooled by the pictures: the pool is at the end of the apartment complex and it is opened to all residents. "

"The lady was excellent, except there was a surprise 60 euro fee for transport, the room was nothing like the pictures, no basic toiletries like shampoo,water, tea all that was put out was two rolls and a bottle of wine (I don't drink so waste) there are a lot of thin stairs very difficult to carry bags up , there is no help. The location has nothing to do and is an hour at minimum and 2 hours at maximum to go anywhere you want to with activities. If you are choosing a place I suggest not here...

"The view is totally stunning! The pool was rather cool at 8pm partly because the property is out of the sun. It's a lovely pool though and we had it to ourselves. The accommodation is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Staff are helpful by message. Would recommend especially as a place to explore the lake by ferry. The roads nearby are pretty busy in July and narrow!"

"We enjoyed the Bologna house. It was high up on the hill and could only get there by taxi or bus. Very seldom were we able to find an available taxi and the bus just drove past where we stayed. When we called the property manager and said we were having trouble getting rides, he hung up on us. Property was nice but not a place I would return to."
