โFabulous walkable location with lake swimming access, hot tub, and views of Lake Como from our balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with great views. And we had a great dinner in the restaurant one night. Bellano is a lovely town with a beautiful promenade that is less crowded than the larger touristy towns on the lake, but a short walk to ferry if you want to visit other towns.โ

โThis hotel has a great location. You can walk to the ferry in two minutes and the train station in five. The staff was very friendly, especially reception desk, where Mateo and Julia were very helpful to us and answering our questions and coordinating things. Convenient and clean place to stay in the area is beautiful.โ
โThis is the highlight of any trip to Lake Como. Rita ( the proprietor) is a breath of fresh air and makes sure everything is perfect for your stay. The room was lovely, completely equipped and even had a washing machine. The location, above Lake Como, was breathtaking and you could not find a better place to stay. โ
โGreat property just quick 10 min walk from Varenna train station. Perfect proximity to ferries, lovers walk, shops, and food. Right next door to Villa Cipresi. Rooms were modern, clean, bed was comfortable and staff beyond helpful and friendly. Would totally stay again โ

Negative- it is situated off of a very steep incline. Itโs .7 miles uphill from the ferry dock. You can take a bus and get dropped closer to the guest house, but there still is quite a walk from the bus stop. Also, there isnโt a place on the bus for luggage. So many things we loved about this charming hotelโฆ the fantastic location across the road from the lake , a first floor balcony that overlooked the town square and a view of lake, clean room and comfy bed. Easy walk to ferry terminal and all the dining options. One of the highlights of this hotel was the infinity roof top pool - we spent every afternoon taking in the view from this wonderful spot.
