"A small but new, very functional and well designed room and smooth logistics, including baggage storage on the day of departure. Would be very tight for 2 people, but was perfect for me for a 3 day work trip. I appreciated the tiny kitchen and black out blinds and the aircon could be important on hotter days. I'd definitely stay again if I need to be in this part of Paris."

"Really unique and special place to stay in Paris. Stunning location enjoyed in the bar and pool area. Lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. We were upgraded to a fantastic suite and offered complimentary bubbly to celebrate a big birthday. Very comfortable and well appointed. Really kind and sweet staff. Location near to the metro so very convenient. Be aware of the slight rocking when larger boats go past! A great, fun place to stay where they made us feel special with superb service....

"I booked this last minute to watch French Open because it is close to the Metro and shorter commute. The lobby was ok. I will not stay here again because the room and bathroom are very small not as expected."

"The location is perfect, but the hotel room is not that good considering you’re paying for a junior suite. They didn’t provide any toothbrushes or toothpaste, which was inconvenient because, for the first time, we didn’t bring any. My husband had to go out and buy some instead. Also, their body gel was empty, and the hand gel was empty as well. We borrowed an iron, but they didn’t even include an ironing board, so ironing a suit on the bed was very difficult. They also didn’t inform us what number to dial if we needed anything, so we had to go down to the lobby again just to ask for assistance. The breakfast area is also too small. Only one staff member was very friendly — the one who helped us during check-in."

"Booked this hotel not realizing it was shared bathroom. It is kind of like a hostel. Did not use the amenities downstairs, and I thought breakfast was included. I need to read the fine print better next time. The room was sweltering hot with no air movement. The bathrooms were always being cleaned exactly when I went to use them. (8:30 am) It was quiet and an ok location for walking and train/ metro."

"Quick review: Staff was helpful and allowed early check-in. Clean facility and conveniently close to all major landmarks in the Saint-Germain area. Rooms are a good size for the price, especially for Paris. One downside was that there was no room cleaning during our 5-day stay, so we had to replace towels ourselves, etc. Other than that, everything was as expected."

"On first arriving in our room, we immediately saw soda sprayed all over the wall behind the bed. We had to have someone come in and clean it as soon as we arrived. Our water closet (toilet room) reeked of urine. You could see streaks across the back of the toilet and walls. I mentioned it to the front desk and asked that it be cleaned very well but it was not cleaned well enough. The urine stench was present the entire stay. The floors in our room were also dirty. Walking around in sock feet, you could feel your socks sticking to the floor. The staff weren’t super helpful either. When we asked for transit information or directions, they were unable to provide any help. We toured Europe for a month and the Mercure was by far the dirtiest, least helpful and one of the most expensive places we stayed. Definitely not worth the money."
