My only โcomplaintโ is the motion sensors on the bed and bathroom would go off in the night and wake me up. I wish those could be turned off. โ
โMy arrival was very late yet staff was very cheerful. Each time I went down to the lobby/bar/chill area, everyone was super nice. The room was very chic and clean. I loved the decor of the room and the entire hotel. It is a reasonably priced hotel for the location and vibe. The food carts are a nice added touch. There is no breakfast, but you are walking distance from places and they make up for it by providing the fun bar and the food carts. I will definitely be staying at a Moxy hotel again!โ
โI booked a last minute stay here. I was happily surprised with how nice the room was. The design and art was super cute and unique. Everything was very clean. The coffee bar was excellent with real half and half. I had to transition to another hotel (Dossier) for my final night of the trip and felt disappointed that I hadnโt been able to extend my stau at the Royal Sonesta. โ
โWe found this hotel to be wonderful. Great location in Portland. The check-in was easy with nice staff. The lobby is spacious but yet cozy with a nice wine / food bar. Our room was a corner room with city view and was exactly was we were looking for. Plus the pillows were perfecr. Highly recommend it. โ
"The location is excellent. Overall, the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious and decent, but they do not meet the high-end quality I imagined when booking. It's an average hotel, but it has a few drawbacks.
Firstly, it was listed as offering free breakfast, but instead of an actual free breakfast, they provide a credit that can be used like a voucher for the total amount. The breakfast itself is not great for the price, so it doesnโt seem worth selecting. Additionally, there is no bathtub in the bathroom, which is a disappointing omission.
The tap water is also quite murky. They claim itโs mineral water, but it just looks dirty. Being sensitive, I also experienced minor skin irritation after using the water.
The pool and fitness center are somewhat small but usable. This hotel is $40โ50 more expensive than others, and I booked it for the pool and breakfast as its advantages, but they werenโt particularly necessary, as the experience is ultimately similar to other hotels.
It wasnโt a bad experience, but Iโll likely try other hotels next time."
