Crystal Beach Hotel

"Booked thru Expedia and was charged $62.00 more when we arrived. It was booked for free breakfast and there was none. Balcony door lock was broken and room was not secure. No way to call front desk because phone was also broken. We were over run with ants and had to go buy ant traps. The next room blared music for 4 days that made impossible to hear the TV or sleep. Housekeeping was aware of it. When we were able to contact the desk the door was fixed and the phone replaced. Called the desk multiple times with not answer. Very disappointed."

"The hotel has a great concept and a unique atmosphere. The restaurant, beach access, and outdoor pools were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the property feels outdated and poorly maintained. The biggest issue is the noise. Guest room doors face the indoor atrium with the ice rink, and the sound insulation is extremely poor. Throughout the night, people were shouting, singing, and talking loudly, and it sounded as if they were right outside the room. Although there is a quiet-hours policy after 11 PM, it was not enforced, even after complaints to the front desk. We also reported that our room door had nearly a one-inch gap at the bottom, allowing even more noise into the room. The front desk said maintenance would fix it, but nothing was done during our stay. Housekeeping is only provided upon request, but guests are not informed of this. As a result, rooms may go days without cleaning, fresh towels, or trash removal unless specifically requested. Another recurring issue was the room entry door, which often took several attempts to unlock and open. Other guests reported the same problem. The indoor pool appeared neglected, and the water looked noticeably dirty. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its location and amenities, but poor maintenance, lack of noise control, and service issues significantly impacted our experience."

"We won’t be coming back. It was a pretty good deal until we were told of the $25 a day parking fee. It would’ve been possible to walk to Bethany, but they were long blocks along a busy road. Even when you take your car, it’s four dollars an hour at the meters this is also in Rehoboth. So good luck and bring plenty of money."

"Room look very old and need upgrade for everything starting from coffee maker, fridge to bath tub, shower basically everything as they were rusty and paint was off. Breakfast was horrible it would be better if they wont provide at all at least people will be prepared for it. Just few staff and you have tell 2-3 times in order for them to listen ."
