"I booked a pet-friendly room because I was traveling with my dog, and I honestly expected it to be much cleaner. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong odor of dog urine, and the carpet looked dirty and felt like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time.
I understand that pet-friendly rooms will naturally experience more wear and tear, and I know some pet owners don't clean up after their animals. However, there is a pet fee, so I expected the room to be cleaned and sanitized...
