โLovely place to stay whilst walking the South Downs Way, the staff were all brilliant, so friendly and attentive and couldn't have done more to make sure we were happy.โ
โWhat a lovely gem of a place which was so welcoming and provided simply the best breakfast you could wish for. What with their own chicken eggs, sausages and fresh home baked bread, you can't go wrong! Janet is a lovely lady who likes to make you feel very welcome. I will be re visiting for sureโ
โA bit of an issue with the booking and whether breakfast was included or not. Advertised as free continental breakfast for all rooms, only to be told on arrival it wasnt included. Used the Expedia agent on the app to query, with screenshots. Breakfast hamper came about 15 mins later. Other than that, all good. Would stay again.โ
โCordial bienvenida. Habitaciรณn muy agradable. Camas cรณmodas. Limpieza extraordinaria. cogida. La propietaria nos diรณ todas las informaciones y tuvo una gran flexibilidad en cuanto al checkin. Nos permitiรณ dejar el equipaje para disfrutar la jornada en Arundel. Gracias Lucie โ

โThe Norfolk Arms is placed in the heart of Arundel and with a warm welcome and lovely sitting-room, bar and dining-room together with everything on your doorstep it's a great place to stay. It's definitely a place you would look forward to visiting again.โ
โThis has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.โ
โGreat hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other roomsโ
โIt is next to a busy road but I didnโt hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience.โ
โMy friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. โ
โWe enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower.
The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality.
Our only minor โgripeโ was being unable to get a drink at the bar after returning from a meal out in Arundel at 9.40pm but otherwise a...
