Genuinely luxurious. Staff went above and beyond, the room was perfect, and the rooftop bar was an unexpected bonus that turned out to be one of the best parts of the stay, really busy and buzzing. Great great experience. Best hotel of the trip if you're not counting the ryokan, which is in a completely different league.
