"I would like to rate the place higher because the property is pretty nice, but my room absolutely stank of weed. Aside from that... 1) the room is well equipped and modern 2) no breakfast bar or restaurant, and there is not much nearby (the only places you can walk to are on the other side of a four-lane highway) 3) they charge for early check-in, but will let you do the paperwork (including picking your room) at no charge if you arrive early and don't actually move into the room until the specified time 4) front desk staff is polite and helpful 5) there is a pool but it was not open in mid-May Assuming the weed smell was a fluke (since it actually got worse through the night, it might have been people lighting up outside), the property is a good, basic place with a comfortable room at a reasonable price. Just plan to arrive fed and get your breakfast along the road in the morning."

"The suite was very spacious as was the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. the building needed some work ie. refreshing the paint on doors and walls in the corridors. The bathroom shower was the worst. There was mold in the shower and the shower curtain ended two inches abve the side of the shower and therefore the floor was soaked."

"The staff is always very courteous and friendly! They always greet you whenever they see you. The hotel is IMMACULATE! Housekeeping personnel are always helpful and friendly and the rooms are always spotless. The beds are very comfortable and plush. The breakfast is amazing for being a complimentary breakfast! The lady who keeps fresh food out and everything VERY clean is SO helpful and such a nice lady! It's always a joy to talk to her. These reasons are why I use this same hotel anytime I am in Birmingham!! I wouldn't go anywhere else!"

"We had 3 separate suites and they were different but comfortable. I liked easy check in. professional staff and plenty of outlets for charging phones. sink cabinet was broken, but maid took a picture of it. refrig ice maker worked ok. I did not like having to go outside to get to front desk. And only 2 towels and washcloths for a room that slept three or four. Only one remote for two separate TV's. Overall, room was clean and beds were comfortable and extra rolls of toilet paper available."
