Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

6/10 Okay

"Unclean, showers dirty, coffee machine literally had dust all over it, walls stained. Also if you keep your blinds open people in other rooms were using their tv remotes to attempt and add charges to your room. I was double charged resort fees and based on other reviews I was too nervous to use the 35$ room credits. I also found the elevator to sometimes be an issue and everyone would crowd around waiting for an elevator and be rude to one another. Not much good to say about this hotel other than it was a place to sleep."

"OMG I've never stayed at a smaller room. Might as well be Tokyo. That wasn't the bad part though, the AC turned on and off every 30 seconds ALL NIGHT LONG. DIDN'T SLEEP A WINK. Also it was under construction and only had one single door for so many guests it didn't have electric open and nobody was there to help it was AWFUL. also there was zero gf options in the breakfast and I usually stay in HAMPTON INN to get the breakfast"

"The rooms were not as advertised. Extremely small & severely outdated. Had hair on the supposedly fresh towels. The bathroom walls & floor were soaked with condensation from the shower. Definitely a slip & fall waiting to happen. No ventilation in the room or bathroom. It’s either extremely hot/humid. Noise from other floors & doors slamming. The cleaning crew have no awareness that guests might be sleeping so they proceed to move about making all the noise in the world. We had no choice but to stay. Surrounding hotels were either booked solid or extremely costly. Not to mention being threatened with a huge on site cancellation fee if we were to cancel. This was my first time in New York & I will not recommend this hotel as an option."

"In terms of cleanliness, spaciousness (for budget hotel in New York), decor, vibe and location, There were no real amenities but I wouldn't expect any at this price point. I would have given this hotel 4.5 stars except for one thing. The WIFI was awful, terrible, appallingly bad. I could barely check my email and forget about streaming anything. I almost gave the hotel 2 stars because of it."
