"Overall a great place to stay if exploring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The large bathroom had a walk-in shower and lovely roll top bath. Very cosy bed and good quality linen. Tea, coffee and water tray provided. Some biscuits would have been nice. Negative was the room was very warm and we could not open windows. Excellent breakfast but limited menu in the evening, for example, no chicken dishes for anyone who doesn’t eat red meat or fish. Deserts not home made and clearly...

"Super comfortable room for our family of four. Delicious breakfast downstairs each morning with friendly staff. Conveniently located near Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. We highly recommend the free mayor’s tour of the city with knowledgeable guides that walk you all around the sites and up to the Royal Crescent. "Annabelle's Guest House had all the basics covered nicely: A helpful host, breakfast each morning, cleanliness, a comfortable bed, and the rooms were cosy which was nice to return to after after a cold rainy day. Note it is a share house, not a hotel so there are less amenities available. I'd recommend staying during the weekdays when it's generally less busy both in the town and at this property. "When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology"

"Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems .
