"The room was nicely updated and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed mattresses need to be changed badly neither my husband nor I slept more then 2 hrs at a time. The old box spring mattresses were so uncomfortable."

"I found the owners very welcoming and other guests very friendly. Close to the highway, local restaurants and an amazing sporting goods and deli store, it had the peace I was looking for and the ease of getting to other locations in the ADK. My dog loved it as well."

"The room had a refrigerator and a microwave which was great. The bed was also extremely comfortable and the bedding and linens were clean. The room was quiet and I didn’t hear a lot of noise from the other guests, and it was in a central location that felt safe and convenient."

Silver Bay YMCA Inn and Conference Center

"This wonderful and historic is the property of the YMCA....... scenic spot with all kinds of opportunities for sports......pickle ball, tennis, water sports, gym, hiking, etc. Buildings are old and beautifully kept. Staff treats you like they've known you for years. Conference center but we went on our own. Food is ok....served cafeteria style. No restaurants close so take your own snacks."
