North Oregon Coast, Oregon hotel rooms at the Guesthouse Inns

"The front desk rep was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was that we had some guests smoking close to entry points and the smell came into our suite."

"Hotel listed a restaurant on site with great breakfast. No restaurant and buffet line was pretty meager. Had to change rooms due to noise next door, new room was fine. Hotel desk agent “Jade” was truly exceptional. Lots of deferred maintenance."

"My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We stayed on the bottom floor, ocean view room. Pros: Check-in staff were great and friendly Lobby was clean and bright and modern Room was clean - looks to have been remodeled recently Beds were wonderful and comfortable. View is incredible! You can’t get closer to the beach without actually being on the beach! Fireplace in room was great. Cons: Walls are very thin - upstairs neighbors were very noisy, moving furniture, and since the floors are wood you hear everything. Poor ventilation - refrigerator was sweating leaving water on the floor. Bathroom stayed damp all night and day despite running the fan constantly. Had to hang towels outside the bathroom to dry. No rugs or mat inside - it’s the beach and it’s sandy. Even brushing our shoes/feet outside there was still sand everywhere. A rug inside the door would be very helpful. Or even a small broom in the room to sweep up sand. Pool is in a different building. A cold walk there and back! There were no towels so had to walk wet to the front desk to get towels. No kids in hot tub area (which could be a pro for some but my kids were very disappointed) and the pool was not very warm! We did enjoy our stay here mostly due to the view and easy beach access. I would consider staying here again if we got a top floor room as I think that would alleviate some of the issues we had with dampness and noise! Overall I would say 3.5-4 stars. "

"Alot of potential and nice staff. The rooms were not cleaned very well at. Coffee spills on walls among other things. Floor turned white socks black if walked on them. Pool was closed all weekene "being cleaned after an incident" but no one started cleaning it until 2 days after that. "

"The front desk was friendly and accomidating. Room was clean with an awesome view of the water. I ciould see that attention to detail was used in ensuring the entire room freshly painted with nice , tasteful furniture. Overall great experience."
