"The place had excellent location and convenience to dining, shopping and train station access. I do find that a bigger and more comfortable rooms was not an option when I booked this stay from 6 months ago, is it because that’s what is available for Expedia customers?"

"The room was super clean and the staff were so helpful with any questions we had in the area. There are shops around this location and nishiki market is super close. There are buses that run constantly in front of the hotel as well as subways 5-10 minutes walking distance. It was a wonderful experience!"

"Stylish hotel, helpful staff staff and funky decor. The record player in the room was a lovely touch and we played all of our records at least once (Gloria Gaynor was a favourite) even if it took me a while to remember how to operate one!"

"Excellent choice for my first time in Kyoto. The only negative thing I have to say is they only have one washing and drying machine for the entire hotel. So except queues, I would suggest going to one of the nearby laundry mats"

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, the staff were thoughtful and helpful and our needs were met. I want to share that the hotel smells great! I saw some recent reviews that there was a bad odor coming from the hotel. If this was a recent problem, it's been addressed. As of mid-October, everything looked new and smelled great."
