"We stayed on the Premium Floor. Amenities were good, customer service was fantastic especially in arranging same day luggage transfer. Bed was quite large for typical “extended twin”. 4 out of 5 stars as breakfast buffet was just ok. Not a ton of variety. The lounge was wonderful! Bartenders exhibited old world professionalism to the craft."

"The location can not be beat. Opposite Nishiki market and a walk away from shopping, temples and shrines. Rooms are tiny. There were 3 of us. The beds are close together and there is minimal extra space. The sink, toilet and shower are all separate which was great because someone could shower while someone else could brush their teeth etc. the sink was in the room. Free small cup of sake at night. Free coffee/hot chocolate. Laundry - 4 machines. Washer/dryer combo. Takes 2 hours a load. Drying takes extra time if you are adding jeans etc. this was busy. Had to go stake out machines. We had a lovely stay. Room was small but we were not in it all day except for sleeping."
