"Beds were comfortable, breakfast was average, and the location was amazing. Lower rating because it was run down in some ways-wallpaper in our room had scratched like furniture had been dragged down the wall, some corners in the bathroom weren’t clean, and the sliding door track stuck a little. Nothing devastating, but not what I expected for their top tier suites. We got in late and it was snowing in the morning so we asked if could check out an hour later and were told no. I didn’t understand why because it’s a weekday in the offseason. They were nowhere near full and it would have been a good chance for great customer service."

"We had a pleasant stay at Sugar Beach Resort Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, and we enjoyed the pool area and the small arcade, which kept the kids entertained. While the breakfast box was adequate, we felt it could have been more substantial. We did notice that the rooms and the hotel itself are a bit dated, but the location right on the beach is truly outstanding and makes up for it."

"Clean rooms, relatively up to date furnishings, breakfast is brought to your room and included. Beautiful views of the beach, nice common spaces to gather. Overall both times I’ve stayed here it has been a fantastic experience!"

"Flushing the toilet make a really loud noise, hard to sleep through. Breakfast could be better; maybe waffles, hard boiled eggs, even bread for toast, not just bagels and english muffins."
