“Our room was lovely however it was on the second floor of the building with no elevator. There were 14 steep steps that had to be climbed. My husband (84) had trouble doing this. We were not notified of the steps when we made our reservations. When I asked for a different room, I was told they were all filled. “We needed two beds close to the Cross-Sound Ferry and this ticked both of those boxes. However, not much beyond that. The rooms are dated and not particularly well-cleaned. An air freshener would at least try to hide the cigarette smell, but to no avail. We definitely had long hair in our beds that did not belong to any of us... It did the job, but I cannot recommend, unfortunately.”

“Great ocean front property. Park, check in and hit the beach. The beach is a few feet away from your car so no lugging heavy beach necessities, coolers or chairs, for long distances. The beach view from the outdoor balcony was great and you see, and hear the waves crashing all day and night. Room was clean with microwave and fridge.
