"I cannot say enough how much we love this hotel. Our experience from beginning to end was amazing. Everyone working at the hotel is so friendly and helpful. When checking in, the young lady noticed my birthday was in a few days, and that my husband had just celebrated his birthday, and she comped us two breakfasts. On my actual birthday we got back to the room and there was a split of prosecco, chocolates and a personalized birthday card waiting. No one does that! But they did here! (Thank you, Derk!) When we left, they gifted us a room spray with their signature scent, which is incredible. We had breakfast at their restaurant, and had dinner there twice because everything was so good. The room itself was large, and so tastefully decorated. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Amsterdam, this is where were will be staying again. If perfection exists, this hotel would be it - at least in our opinion."

"The room was clean but very small (which I knew when I booked it). The location near the water and train station were important to me. The price was reasonable given the high costs in Amsterdam. Check-in was slow and the reception area was not organized or staffed adequately. Check-out was easy since I did it online. I wanted to use the luggage lockers but received different information on cost and space from two different receptionists. Ended up not using them as a result."

"This was a short walk to and from the central train station, so was easy to get in and out of. I wouldn't bring large luggage, though, because the cobblestone streets are hard to maneuver with wheeler bags. I loved the location and could walk around the city freely. It's a short hop to canal tours, the red light district, and a lot of restaurants! You are about 1 mile (1.6 km) from the big art museums or the casino, so that's a bit further. But, there are plenty of shops to stop at along the way or you can enjoy a walk along the numerous canals. The only gripe about my stay is that my room was on the ground level right next to the main strip, so there was noise from outside until about 1 am. And, then a huge delivery truck stopped right outside my window at 7am. If you aren't on the ground floor, you'll probably really appreciate this hotel and the location."

"There is a roof top bar on level 12. We stayed on level 8. The music was so loud it shook the room. They said they always have a Sunday night Party! We wanted good sleep for an international flight the next Morning. That didn't happen. The staff comped our breakfast which we DID NOT order!"

"This property was in the great location for walking to restaurants, museums, and shopping. Very friendly and very helpful staff made our three days most enjoyable. The room was spacious with the bed very comfortable and the bathroom well-appointed. Breakfast had a large selection of foods and beverage choices for us. We will most definitely will return. Highly recommend this property."
