"The room was clean, except for a couple of dirty spots behind the bathroom door that I noticed the night before checking out. The bed was VERY FIRM, if that's your thing, you'll be happy, but my back is a bit sore today. The hotel itself, looked great from the pictures, but it's clearly in need of some TLC. It felt a bit neglected in some areas, which made us a bit sad because this hotel has the potential to be very nice. There were loose pebbles all over the indoor/outdoor pool deck, the whirlpool doesn't bubble aggressively, which is fine I guess, but it needs a bit more power than it currently is, especially if they're going to feature hard mattresses. I prepaid $37 for the breakfast. Don't bother, unless you have a room full of people that will benefit from it. The breakfast is otherwise a la carte with microwaveable breakfast sandwiches priced around $3.50. They have waffles, bagels, English Muffins which can all go in the toaster as well. Cereal, Bottled Juices and coffee are all pretty cheap too. So, needless to say, I lost a few bucks by prepaying here. There's a great diner literally 3 minutes up the street, that would be my recommendation. They don't do daily house keeping either, but will try to accommodate special requests. For us, it was a short 2 night stay so it's not that big a deal, but any longer, and it might be a problem. The staff were all friendly but somewhat hard to find at times, We began to wonder if this is a corporate call?"

"Very modern and minimalist. Although this is a historic building there was no information in the hotel, in the room, anywhere. We learned about it from talking to the bartender and we were glad he knew some of the history. If you are looking for a piece of paper, a pen, TV guide, area restaurant information available in the room you won't find any. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.. "

"The check-in process was impressively smooth, and the lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind and resourceful, assisting me with all my questions efficiently. The room was pristine, with spotless linens and a comfortable bed, and I appreciated that the floor I was on was notably quiet, allowing for a restful stay. I only wish there had been more entertainment options available, such as a TV with a broader selection of channels or on-demand services, and a greater variety of nearby restaurants offering dine-in options to enhance the dining experience. Aside from these minor inconveniences, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose to stay again in the future."
