“Hotel is in a beautiful location next to the river. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. Really tasty breakfast in the morning with a large and varied buffet. Porridge, kippers etc also available on request. Evening meal in the restaurant was also really good. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar and on the terrace. Highly recommended.”

““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””

“The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. The food at the Cairns restaurant for dinner was nice but the service was a bit disjointed. There was a lot of staff but still took a while...

“This is a lovely property and our room was spacious and lovely. All the public places are well designed. The resturant is almost comically horrible. We didn't find anything in town that was good, but at least some of them were slightly cheaper. Avoid if at all possible.”
