“I would recommend that nobody EVER stay at this hotel. We stayed at Viva Azteca for one night and were transferred to Viva Maya for the rest of our stay. This was due to harassment by the “manager of security”. I asked for the video footage by the bar and was ably to prove that he was harassing my 20 year old daughter and her 23 year old friend. He accused them of being underage and when they showed him their ID’s, he continued to harass them and told all bars to not service them anymore. ...

“This was a “ buyer beware” situation for me. I have been there a couple times previously with family members who have had a timeshare for 30 years and always stayed in nice quarters. This time I paid for my own one bedroom. I was put into a studio “ cave” with no window. That was NOT what was advertised. Of course, I was unable to get it changed. The ocean view is fantastic. Except for breakfast, the food was mediocre, at best. The servers are wonderfully helpful, the resort staff’s most often ...
