“This hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. Canal walk, aqueduct and tunnel all within walking distance. Enough choice for places to eat right on the doorstep.
Hotel was clean, and our room had everything we needed (apart from a hairdryer!). Good value for money too. Would recommend.”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

“Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...

“Slightly disappointed that when I got there at 1500, I was told my room wasn’t ready, despite 1500 being the time that checking in starts.
Sat around for 30 minutes while I waited for it to be confirmed as ready, but the man on the desk was so kind and polite and apologised profusely, and had exceptional customer service.
Came down a while later to ask for a pen, and ended up speaking to another member of staff on the desk fro about 5 minutes and he also had exceptional customer service.
