โWe had a wonderful stay at The Chincoteague Inn for the 100th Annual Pony Swim! The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was great.
The location works well, especially since the Pony Express Trolley stops right out front. We were also able to walk back from the Carnival Grounds in the evening with a stop at the Island Creamery (a must) which is right around the corner from the Inn.
Areas for improvement: wish there was an outside shower at the pool to rinse off. Also the...

โWe had a lovely short visit staying in the Pineapple room. The pictures on Expedia don't do the place justice. The house is much more beautiful in person. The owners are welcoming and gracious. Once you walk through the front door, it's like being transported to the past. It's quiet and comfortable with rooms steeped history. A great place to relax over tea while reading a book.
