"While the staff were pleasant, helpful, & provided good service throughout our stay, unfortunately the property itself was extremely disappointing.
The complex is very large & conveniently located close to the marina, supermarkets, & other local amenities. However, the accommodation was in desperate need of renovation & appeared not to have been updated since the 1980s. The condition of the apartment was far below expectations & did not match the description provided at the time of booking.
The air conditioning was unreliable & frequently malfunctioned. Noise was a major issue throughout our stay. We could clearly hear neighbours in surrounding apartments, & external noise continued into the early hours of the morning, making it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Because of this, I would not recommend the property for families with young children.
The furnishings were extremely dated. The beds & mattresses appeared worn out & in need of replacement. The kitchen was old, tired, & literally falling apart in places. The sofas were dusty & well past their best. Basic kitchen equipment was also lacking, with insufficient cookware & no coffee mugs available. Even after requesting mugs from reception, none could be provided.
Overall, while the location & staff were positives, the poor condition of the accommodation, excessive noise, & misleading property description made this a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again & would not recommend to others."
