“I went with my family and the house, rooms, gardens and service were great. Our stay was very pleasant and we were able to visit different beaches and waterfall around. Is close to the main services and grocery stores, 30 seconds walk to the beach, friendly hosts and front desk personnel and good communication, included wii-fi and calm and relaxing surroundings.”

“Great place to stay to visit Monteverde. It a good deal in this touristic area. The room was clean, so the shared bathroom was. Easy self parking on site and the hotel is walkable for the center of Santa Elena. ”

“Great place to stay just outside of the main road. It's about a 15min walk into town or an Uber for hot days for $3.5. The breakfast is a large size and the vibe is super relaxing. Would stay here again.”

“Be sure to calibrate your expectations: this is not a luxury apartment. It was, however, an excellent value. While the building wasn't new, the room was well-kept. We were able to find parking each night on the street in front, but had to relocate the car closer one night. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the included breakfast of fruit, eggs, and gallo pinto was solid (especially at this price point). ”

“Very friendly and accommodating host - Marleny and family. Clean and friendly place with much information about local tours, eating places, and organized transport to and from San Jose. Great kitchen facilities! and Marleny prepared us a delicious breakfast, for US$7. Comfortable rooms and very clean. The location is noisy on weekends, especially at night, with passing traffic on the main road.”

“every time i come to jaco beach i stay at selinas and every time i stay it just gets better and better all the time. this time they had the entertainment of the DOUBLE tight rope walker over the pool giving lessons. i was not drunk enough to try it myself, but steven was the greatest. oh, and don't fotget aboout the every night happy hour with cocnut water and cacique. did you know that in world wars 1I and II, that they used coconut water for blood transfusions on the soldiers that lost so...

“Hostel Selina is a cute spot way up in the mountains with a great common area, hot tubs, a library/reading space, kitchen and yoga studio. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return our next trip here!”

“Love Selina santa teresa south! The pool is so clean and beautiful and they clean the rooms if you want. They upgraded us to a private room but I’ve stayed in the shared bunks and it was very nice and clean too. The people here are super nice and friendly. Also monkeys. Lots of monkeys. ”

“I stayed in one of the private rooms. It was very clean and it had everything I needed. The room was a little small, but comfortable. The hotel grounds are pretty and very clean. There is also a very nice small pool. The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again. ”
