We got in late and left very early, so we didn't use the hotel amenities, but the hotel worked well for our purposes and was clean and conveniently located. “Booked the last room available at late notice. Located in Manteo which is away from the beachiness of the OBX but conveniently located to get to things north and south easily. Manteo has a cute downtown and things to explore on its own. The hotel is a historic house and inn that has been totally updated.
