"Value for price is excellent. After shopping around for a reasonably-priced, well-located, and full-service hotel, Faubourg was a logical choice. It was clear upon reading online reviews that it's not a luxury property, which is both true as well as not necessary. What was needed was sufficient space for two adults, one with a bicycle; central location for easy access to events (UCI World Championships) and transport; and services including breakfast, laundry, luggage storage, etc. The room was decently comfortable but without frills, the kitchen was not used other than for its convenient sink and fridge, space for personal belongings (dresser in the bedroom, closets) was adequate, having a balcony was nice (though some seating there would be welcome), but the bathroom could be cleaner and needs some attention to detail (dusty and broken - but functional - light, tub spout is loose, tile floor seems dirty, damaged, or just an odd design). The breakfast buffet wasn't great, but it gets the job done if you need a quick meal before a busy day; I supplemented with better coffee and snacks at cafes. In short, the Faubourg met expectations all around and in a city of expensive lodging is well-worthwhile."
