많이 친절함.호텔문앞에서 담배피는 사람들이 종종 있어요
프른트 직원분들이 엄청 친절합니다. 그러나 아이들과 가는 입장에서는 아차 싶었습니다. 젊은이들이 가야 할곳. 앞에 담배피고 락음악에..아이들이은 무서워하더군ㅇㅅ. 젊은이들이 거긴 좋은것 같아요.

안전한 위치, 공용 욕실이 좀 불편하긴 하지만 가격대비 만족 다만 밑 층에 공연장이 있어 새벽까지 좀 시끄러움

엘리베이터 없고, 낡고 냄새나고 쥐나오는 최악의 호텔
리뷰가 나쁘지 않아 예약을 했는데 방은 사진과 달랐고, 엘리베이터 없고, 화장실, 샤워실을 공용으로 사용해야 하며, 히터을 틀어주지 않아 너무너무 추웠다. 새벽에는 쥐가 들어와 방안을 돌아다녔고, 프런트 사무실은 비어있었으며, 아침에 메니져에게 그 상황을 얘기했으나 단지 미안하다는 대답뿐. 추후 다시 따져서 환불 받아냄.

It's good place with reasonable price.
1. You can reach to the market street by bus, #27. 2. Little bit noisy because of the BAND practice in the basement until 11 pm but OK. 3. Some groceries around the hostel. 4. Room is clean and comfortable. 5. Hot water in the bathroom. 6. Street is OK (close to the elementary school), but little bit scared in the night.

Good price, but 1 factor that makes uncomfortable.
Though price is low, everything is fine except one thing. The one thing is B1 floor. From there, some noisy music is flowed out every night! (10pm-12pm). If you want to sleep here, you must keep ear-plugs.

deserve the price
SF hotels are usually expensive to stay, this hotel price was okay. All washrooms are for sharing, which was quite uncomfortable. And there was no elevator. it was hard to bring luggages to the room cuz I and my friend had a lot. But staffs were kind and helpful. It was okay to stay a few days. It is not like a 'hotel' , more like a hostel actually.

My roommate had been at the same room for over a week I think and he probably never had shower in his life. I asked staff to change my room because it was impossible to stay at the room with/out him. They said all the rooms are full and they cannot do anything about it.

I have lived in San Francisco for the past 30 years, and I know the city changes from block to block. The music city hotel is the perfect alternative to stay in the city on and off without paying lots of money. The area is very nice, many good restaurants and pubs. Night life as well, dispensaries and more. Overall, I love this place.

I enjoyed the capsule bed experience. The music in the hotel is great. There's so much to take in at this hotel, that you'll want to come back.

I chose to give this hotel a good rating because it delivered exactly what was advertised at a decent rate in a location that we convenient to what I wanted to do in SF. That said, there are a few things I wish I had taken into account before choosing it that have to do with me more than the property itself. For starters, this is probably not the top pick for someone with mobility issues or who has trouble with stairs. If there is an elevator in the building it was evidently not operating during my stay, and accessing the front desk and guest rooms involved several flights of pretty steep stairs with baggage -- so just be prepared. Second, the hotel staff is very nice and helpful, but there is no one on-site overnight. For me this became an issue when an alarm went off in the hallway outside my room about 5 a.m. When I called the after-hours number, they advised me to ignore it and so the alarm kept going til the morning crew arrived. Finally, future guests should note there is not really a common area, so people staying in the shared hostel rooms tend to use the hallways for personal phone calls etc. and the noise does carry. These are not criticisms, just a heads-up for people who may be a tad more comfortable in a more traditional American-style hotel set-up. This is not that, but it is an interesting, quirky and comfortable place at a good price near interesting attractions, music venues, etc. and not too far from Union Square.

I'm embarrassed to just now be riding a review for this fantastic place. I've stayed here a great number of times. The front desk office staff are so friendly and yet professional. I'm from hospitality and retail experience, so I know very well customer service. This staff have a natural ability for this customer service. I've seen several times in person them handling numerous situations at one time. They give the term multitasking a new definition. The housekeeping staff are not only friendly and you're always smiling, but are so thorough and maintaining impeccable cleanliness. They're fresh fruit coffee and tea are always a comfort treat. That huge photos of the Bay area music legends are so cool. I grew up with most of these bands, and always enjoy your trip down memory lane when viewing these. I'm so excited for the new addition downstairs to open. I can't say enough about these friendly professional cool hip folks. Oh one more thing. The music that plays over the speakers is so cool. I have Shazam so much of this music over time that I have a fat library of new material to listen to. Whenever The pointer sisters OR Sylvester plays, watch out baby cuz I'm going to be dancing.

Music lover’s heaven. You have to check out all pictures and music. The room itself is clean and comfortable. Great privacy with blackout curtains.

It really was about music! Every where you looked in that place was about music artist and records. One amazing thing i love is the V.I.P keys you get! So many discounts and access you can have throughout the city.

The Music City Hotel was amazing. We had such a good time. We got to stay in the Metallica room, awesome! We even had a guitar and amp to play! Comfortable and clean rooms, rock and roll everywhere. Great showers, and clean bathrooms. Centrally located in the city, so we were able to use the public transportation, like the cable cars! Parking lot next door, I was able to leave my car. So many restaurants and shopping All around, fun in every direction. One day is certainly not enough time to enjoy all that is available and close by. We will return!
