โThe Tiger Inn is a really lovely pub with rooms, in a beautiful area of East Sussex. There's no reception and we had to wait in a fairly long queue at the bar in order to check in, but once we had we found all of the staff really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. We were located right above the 'beer garden' (actually the village green) and it was busy and a bit noisy until the evening. But once it had emptied out a bit, everything was perfectly quiet save for the...

โWe liked this Inn the first time we stayed there in May that we decided to book again. Stayed in a different room but was equally happy with the space as the first time. Would highly recommend. Dave and Val are great hosts.โ

โFrom start to finish one amazing place to stay. Friendly, welcoming people and clean rooms. The best breakfast and on the doorstep for the views and walks. Highly recommended hope to see them again soon. โ

โWe stayed at the Deluxe Double for three nights.
- Convenient location close to the ocean, dining, and buses
- Modestly sized but clean, elegant room that matched the pictures
- Kind and accommodating owners
- Great breakfast with a number of options to choose
- Free bottled water
- Only minor knock is that some of the amenities are a bit old-fashioned (separate faucets for cold and hot water in the bathroom sink; toilet has a somewhat loud noise when flushing). That said, the shower set-up was...

โA friendly greeting, an immaculate room and lovely extras such as biscuits and brownies. A good traditional English breakfast with home made bread and preserves. Thanks for a great stayโ

โWe paid extra for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - and so glad we did! The room was spacious with a couple of comfy armchairs we sat in with the doors to the balcony open just soaking up the sound of the sea. Everything about the hotel was well done - the breakfast spread was excellent, even the lifts came as soon as you pushed the button! But the best thing about it was its location, right by the sea and an easy walk into the lovely part of town with theatres and restaurants. Loved...

โUse hotel when visiting the Towner Art Gallery for an exhibition. I have limited mobility and the hotel provides largely level access with large bedrooms & walkin shower. A wide choice of breakfast options, friendly staff and a 10 minute walk to Cornfield Road for the buses and shopping centre. Handy for other restaurants in the area, along with a cinema & theatre.โ
