The Grand Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"Such a lovely stay here, rooms were so comfy and very modern decor, great showers, a relaxing bar area. Would highly recommend!"

Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a long day traveling to the hotel. 10 hours on the plane and 3 hours on bus, train and cab to get to the hotel. This hotel was near the cruise harbour and previous reviews said it was nice. What very pleasant surprise when we entered the doorway to the Leonardo Grand Harbour. The concierge greeted us with cheerful salutation and said let me take your baggage and he would make sure it gets to the room after we check in. What a relief not to have to move it around any more. As we were checking in the hotel staff handed us a refreshing cool drink. When we checked in and received our keys, the concierge asked if we were going on one of the cruises. After we confirmed, he asked which cruise and what time and he would arrange for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the cruise ship in time for boarding. Another task no longer needed to arrange. Quite nice. We were tired so we ate at hotel and the food was excellent. A very nice room. We included breakfast at check-in. I will say the breakfast was excellent. A buffet with many tasty choices. The concierge held our luggage after checkout and when the taxi arrived he helped the driver load the luggage. The Hotel was top notch and the concierge was the highlight and made the stay memorable."

Royal Bath Hotel
8/10 Good
"Hotel was in a great location for getting out and about to explore Bournemouth. Hotel had a sense of faded grandure, A charge was added for the use of the pool with a non working jacuzzi. The breakfast could have had a bit more choice, The best asset were the staff who we're friendly helpful and thoughtful ."

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Lobby area and breakfast area were well laid out. Room met our needs, air con worked well, shower was good. We used the fitness room too which was good size and not too busy. Chose to add on breakfast which had good variety. All staff very friendly. Would recommend."

Moxy Southampton
10/10 Excellent
"It is very convenient, a few minutes walk to the biggest Westquay shopping mall, the gate and the walking street at Southampton. Their breakfast starts at 6am, which is helpful for early leaving tenants."

Laguna Hotel
8/10 Good
"Obviously this is a more old fashioned hotel but the pool was lovely and the room was spacious and clean although with a strong, funny smell. Unfortunately we were there on the hottest day of the year and the rooms were extremely hot with no fans. We couldn’t get all of the windows open - I think one was jammed shut. Staff were generally helpful and friendly although I had to constantly ask the waitress for basic things like butter, marmalade etc at breakfast as they weren’t brought to us. The other waitresses/waiters did seem much friendlier/more efficient. Having said that it was very hot for the staff to have to work in."

Leonardo Hotel Southampton

"If you are travelling from Southampton Central Railway station, it is best to take a bus right at the train station and then walk 5 minutes to the hotel. About 10 minutes walk passing thru the park to many eating places."
