“As soon as we artived the owner met us and took us ti our topm. Explained the entry procedure. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. “My husband and I went for a Friday to Sunday weekend break. We had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. “We stayed for 3 days after our 14-night cruise and were able to wash and dry all our clothes. The washing machine was very handy. The provided clothes hanger had seen better days but we made it work. The location was fabulous and close to heaps of restaurants and pubs. Mixed Experience with Classic Accommodation
"It was a classic accommodation situated in the heart of Eastbourne Pier. The relatively affordable price came with its fair share of advantages. Appearing to cater to a senior clientele, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and stable. However, the service from the staff was not exceptional. When I requested improvements regarding excessive noise from the neighboring guest, the staff responded with a rather closed-off attitude, stating, 'The law in this country allows for music to be played until 11 PM.' I understand, but that's the same in my country too!!! However, the noise from that guest was truly excessive. Shortly after, another hotel staff member came directly to the room to politely address the issue, probably because of continued complaints from other guests."
