“Great hotel, super friendly staff, lovely swimming pool. Awesome breakfast served by fantastic waitresses who were lovely. Good sized room and excellent shower, floor a little creaky and bed slightly hard but to be expected in a property of this age. No evening meals unfortunately but plenty of local food options nearby. A little bit of noise in the morning from the coaches running their engines first thing, not excessive. Overall very happy with our stay at Laguna, nice old fashioned style...

“Like some other reviewers on here, I was a bit wary of what to expect after reading some of the other reviews, but in reality, we received a warm welcome from the reception staff, and booking a standard plus room gave us a room with a sea view. Although there was no air-conditioning, having three sash windows in the room meant that we had air flowing through the room, and so despite it being one of the hottest weekends of the year, we were able to sleep comfortably. “I saw lots of negative reviews for this hotel so was very nervous about booking but we’d been let down at the last minute with the accommodation we’d booked for our weekend away so booked the Ocean hotel and hoped for the best! I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised, yes the outside is a bit tired but the reception and bar area are lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, even a fan and heater in the wardrobe...
