"We were going to a concert at the O2 and we would normally stop in central London and get the boat down. This time we thought we would try The Intercontinental as it was next door. So glad we did, getting back to our room after a five minute walk was amazing. All the staff were very friendly and down to earth even though it was a top class hotel. "For a UK hotel, it was very good. We paid A LOT extra to have an amazing room with a view over the Thames and access to the club lounge. We had a complimentary bottle of wine and some toffees in the room which was a really nice touch. Standard of room was as expected. Lounge was also very nice for a UK hotel (always disappointing compared to many abroad). Towels were a bit disappointing - not very fluffy. Bedroom and soft furnishings were comfortable. Overall, had a great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in a fantastic location. Historic building made it extra special - if you are looking for something a little different.
We had a lovely room overlooking views of the Shard. Delicious chocolate cake for our anniversary was waiting to greet us in our room. Heated toilet seat was a nice
