“Needs some TLC, very tired-looking property. The room was basic (despite it being an upgrade) but adequate. Unfortunately the bed and pillows were very hard and the AC unit was extremely loud, resulting in a difficult night and very little sleep. We chose to check out in the morning after just one night of our two-night booking. The staff was pleasant upon check-in and check-out.”

Some of the rooms are historic and some were built in the 90s and have not been kept up so they're not in the best condition. However they did move us to a slightly nicer room. Breakfast was great. “The Washington Inn is a very nice place to stay in downtown Santa Fe. A short walk takes one to museums, shops, and restaurants. The property is new and being well-maintained. Accommodations are comfortable. Ours was decorated with beautiful wall art which we appreciated and enjoyed. The inn has several buildings containing apartments of various sizes which makes it more private and quieter than most hotels.
