"We have stayed in a designer-modern room and the traditional western room, and both were great. The bar is a real plus, and dinner, tho a limited menu, was good. The property is lovely, lots of great landscaping. Wish they still had the made to order breakfasts, I was looking forward to the avocado toasts and eggs!"

"The ambiance of the hotel was charming--felt intimate and friendly and had all the amenities. Hotel is just off the plaza so easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We treated ourselves to a king bed room with a fireplace in the separate living room. Upon request a staff member came and started a fire, which was lovely on cool evenings. There is a small bar attached to the hotel with a pizza maker serving up delicious fresh pizza. The rooms were spacious and clean, though bathroom a bit dated."

"Overall the hotel was very nice and other than the woman at the desk at check-in, all the staff were nice and very helpful, especially the man making the breakfast burritos. We were returning to AZ from a 2 week trip out to Missouri and Indiana and since most hotel room refrigerators have very small or no freezer, all the hotels we stayed at were very willing to put our two thick heavy duty zip lock bags of ice packs in their breakfast room freezers to refreeze overnight during our stay. The woman at the desk at Coyote South told us no she couldn't do this because of "Hygiene". Since we are putting these zip loc bags of ice packs in our cooler with our food, I felt very insulted that she was insinuating that we were not practicing good hygiene. She claimed she was a part-time nurse and knowledgeable about this and basically ruined our impression of what initially seemed to be a very nice hotel with a beautiful lobby, well appointed rooms and a nice breakfast buffet."

"This experience was HORRIBLE. The only reason this place was considered was because I had a graduation party to attend there. The party hall was nice. However, the hotel itself was horrendous. The staff was some of the worst I’ve ever come across-specifically the older woman. We had a mix up with the third-party we booked through, Expedia reached out to the hotel and an “Aubrey” answered and tried helping, however the older lady saw this happen and she started yelling at Aubrey that she is unable to help us with this, we just needed a duplicate booking canceled due to a system glitch. Aside from the disgusting service at the front desk, the room was just as nasty. The AC unit was being held together with a paper plate, wires hanging from the ceiling (where the fire alarm should be), bugs everywhere, gunk on the bed and walls, numerous stains on the furniture. When I asked the older lady to switch rooms, she said they were at capacity. I then brought up the room she was refusing to cancel for us and at that point she started threatening to call security on me and have me removed from the property, which wouldn’t have been bad if I wasn’t celebrating a loved one. Also a horrible mildew smell through the whole facility."
