“The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery. Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control.”

“The room was clean and everything worked. Hotel located near cathedral and shops. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice with quality ingredients and good choice. Small parking area which was full but there is a car park nearby which is free for 2 hours. Would stay again”

Obviously an old building but Green King have done the perfect renovations and updates on the rooms, it was very comfortable. Our room was light and airy, the ensuite bathroom left me with bathroom envy with its full size shower cubicle. Liquid soap and shower gels provided and the bath towels were massive and fluffy.
