“The hotel in general was excellent, with the large family room we had booked having 2 comfortable double beds. However, the evening food in the restaurant was not good at all, and the breakfast was mediocre at best.”

“Nice place to stay, nice welcome. Easy free parking and simple out of hours entry exit for your room. Unfortunately a couple of negatives were the green illuminated exit/safety lamp in your room, never experienced this before in any hotel. Also a member of staff told me that a previous person staying in my room (no7) had an issue with opening the door to the room. There's no issues with the opening it's locking the door behind you. No way would it lock, tried calling the hotel while I was out,...

“We had a fantastic stay at Dakota Newcastle. The rooms were beautiful, stylish and extremely comfortable, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing with excellent food and great service. Everything felt really high quality and well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Dakota Newcastle. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“Lovely hotel. Great value for money in a lively student area.”

“Best hotel in Newcastle, no contest. Would stay again!”

“This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here, can’t fault it at all, Rooms clean and cleaned every day, bar and food in pub and pizza place attached very good. I had duck tacos and sweet potato fries twice that’s how good they were. Pizza was also good and very filling. Plenty of car parking, all staff were lovely and helpful.”

“Lovely property well located in the centre of Tynemouth. Host is so helpful, comfortable rooms and beds and the breakfast is amazing.”

The room was alright, even though the bed wasn't exactly comfy, and the timed fan in the bathroom wasn't ideal at night. The best thing overall was the cafe, in which we went for all the three days. Hats off! The staff was amazing, and they could accommodate our...
