"Lovely renovated hotel in a great location. Although the address is on State Street, this is now pedestrianized. If arriving by car you need Gota Street to access hotel car park. There is no restaurant only a small bar, but plenty of eating options. The downside is a small single lift and dark (caramel?) paint on the room walls and ceiling which made the room look smaller than it was. Overall for a 3 star property I was impressed and would happily return."

Each interaction felt genuine without being over bearing. The property itself is stunning, with world class amenities that make it hard to leave: multiple pools, ocean view lounges, spa, and maintained walking paths . The only caveat depending on which villa you're in, you may have a bit of hill to walk. That said, the resort has golf carts to escort guests to their villas (especially handy after a couple of drinks). All in all, Bacara delivers a 5 star experience with warmth, privacy and personalized service. "
