"I have stayed at this hotel several times and don’t remember being placed where it was so noisy! First, my room was by the pool and we requested to be moved! Then we were placed overlooking the park (the busy intersection) of cars and trucks speeding by throughout the night! Next time I will contact the hotel directly and be more strategic about where my room placement will be!!"

Inn By The Harbor

"Everything about this Inn was wonderful. Especially the staff. Very great service and extras. We were welcomed heartily even though coming in late. Parking was free and convenient. Right away, they offered us wine in the room, hot beverages and cookies in the lobby. We were impressed by the beautiful courtyard landscaping, which they call "the alley". There was a nice pool and hot tub in the courtyard, making me regret not bringing swimwear. Many liked to hang out there with their wine. The room and bathroom were spacious and it included a nice little kitchen and dining table to eat at. It was a lovely walk to Stearn's Wharf from here and it you walk the way we did you can view the largest Bay Fig tree in the nation, planted in 1877. There was no signage, but it's on the map they gave us at the front office when we checked in. The continental breakfast each morning ran long. I think 7-10 am? Along with great pastries, muffins, bagels there were hot frittatas and salsa, sausages and hot oatmeal. There were also really good fresh made coffees, packs of hot cocoa and teas, juice, fancy yogurt in glasses, milk and cereals. There was also a coffeemaker in the room and the internet was good. If I come back to Santa Barbara I would vacation here again and stay longer than 2 nights."

Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort

"The Hilton Beachfront Resort was a very large and older resort that lacked luster. The hotel facilities were outdated and not well maintained. The best examples were the gates to enter the pool area were key fob operated but did not work. The hotel hallways had wall patches throughout many buildings. In the Camilia building where we stayed all three ice machines did not work. The gym was very outdated and not maintained very well. The pool area was not monitored by staff where it seemed many children ran the decks and jumped in the pool and hot tub without and intervention by parents or staff. I found the staff at check in, restaurant, and bar to be very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the safe opening in our room, and a staff member quickly reported the issue and it was resolved during a period that was convenient for us."
