“Good standard of hotel at an affordable price in a great and peaceful and friendly environment.”

“The room was functional & just what we needed for resting before an early-ish flight. Amenities are basic, and the room feels like an internal ship's cabin. The lift wasn't working when we were there, but didn't have an out of order sign. ”

“Great location, very well kept, breakfast was fantastic, evening meal was to die for but three little issues - 1. When walking in the main door stinks of cigarettes as people obviously smoke there, plenty of other places where let them use the main door. 2. WIFI - I was on the second floor, outside by the lift - full signal i was the next door to the corridor and as the walls are solid brick I got 1 bar due to the access point distance so Wi-Fi was not great, 3 more access points sort=s this by...

“Lovely large room but disappointed about the size of the small double bed. Room was also very hot in the mornings. Tea and coffee refreshments were not topped up during our stay. Apart from the above comments a lovely hotel with lots of character.”

“Friendly Hotel pub in a great location for the town centre. Nice welcome and quick check in. Room was fine but bed was a bit small for a double. Great breakfast and Sunday lunches are the best! ”

“For the price you get a lot for your money including parking, tea, coffee, biscuits and water, they have in house indian restaurant, good wifi connection for free.. and good hot powerful shower , with complimentary soaps and shampoos. ”

“Cannot recommend this place enough. The pub itself is really nice, the rooms are lovely, and the staff are friendly. It’s also fantastic value for money for London. We booked outside of London central, because I wanted to take my friend to Gods Own Junkyard (awesome place). But, having stayed here, even though it’s a bit of way out I’d totally stay here when all my plans are central London based in the future. It’s so much nicer than some of the places we’ve paid a lot more for in the centre,...
