Val Maubuee, Île-de-France hotel rooms at the Appartcity

"Overall, we loved our stay here. A 4 minute walk to the train station to catch the shuttle to CDG made it super convenient. Vibe of the hotel is great, bar menu was good and the staff very friendly. We didn't eat breakfast, but the buffet was 20 euro ea. though they said it was possible to get some things a la carte. The room was very small, but it's not meant to be a long term stay so it was totally fine for one night. Loved how lights were labeled and there was an outlet for EU, UK and US plugs. The bed is oddly situated against the window so person sleeping on that side had to climb over the other to get out of bed. Also, there is no plug on that side or little shelf for charging/storing a phone. The toilet/shower combo "pod" is fine, but when showing the floor got very wet. Sink/lighted mirror outside that room allowing someone to get ready. Only complaint is the alarm. We set an extra one on the in room ipad and were VERY rudely awakened by ALL the lights in the room coming on immediately and city/siren sounds playing from the TV....we didn't see options for a wake up method listed, but never guessed it would be like that! We would definitely stay again, but will skip the in room alarm next time! ;) "

"Rooms need updating. Our first room was old with. Dirty carpet. Staff updated us in to a cleaner room but window looked at the air conditioner. That was disappointing . Also lobby is being renovated … had no idea. Property is nice but expected better "

"Hotel room was very clean but a few things seemed to be out of order, including a rip in the lower part of the bed frame. The shower door was also having a difficult time catching the water from hitting the floor due to the plastic piece attached to the frame being loose. Booked a room with a view and was not disappointed! I could see the Eiffel Tower even during cloudy days, as well as the Cathedral Notre Dame. Room felt a tad on the smaller size. If you are claustrophobic I would not recommend, but it does its job overall if you are not. Would book again."

"This is a nice boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The garden/courtyard is cute and our room was comfortable and accommodated three adults nicely. Both the queen bed and twin bunk bed was comfortable which was a pleasant surprise for a twin bed. The bathroom was okay, but could use some improvements. For instance, the glass that served as the door for the shower was so small that it was impossible not to get water everywhere while showering. It is an easy walk to the metro and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the property. If you want to be closer to iconic Paris attractions, I suggest you look for a different neighborhood, we knew we would be taking the metro and were fine with that for this trip. "

"WiFi didn’t work well. Kitchen didn’t have pots or pans. I asked for a pot and a pan and was only given a pan. Stove is induction so you can’t use your own unless they’re induction too. Shuttle to Disney takes a long break from around noon to 5pm - so a midday rest becomes impossible if you use it. It’s an hour to walk to the park so you’d need a cab or to use local buses - which will cut walking time down but still takes 40min or so."
