"Park Plaza Vondelpark is a lovely boutique hotel in an upscale neighborhood. It is two blocks away from the spacious Vondelpark, one of the largest in the city. It's also two blocks from the nearest tram stop that leads directly past the major museums and ends at the Centrum, the heart of the city. Everyone on the staff, from the desk clerk to the maintenance person to the restaurant wait staff, were very polite and professional. Both the buffet breakfast and the dinner items were delicious....

"Nice hotel in a great location in the “old south”area of Amsterdam (not a touristy area). Hotel staff all great and special kudos for the manager. Hotel is on a quiet street but only a five minute walk from coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and the stop for the GVB tram line. On the tram you can get to Museumplein area in 10 minutes and Centraal station in 25 minutes. About a 15 minute walk to Vondelpark and there are nice restaurants and shops near Vondelpark too. "

"My favourite hotel in Amsterdam. It's an oasis of calm set back from the road in the lovely residential neighbourhood of De Pjip whicb has plenty good bars, restaurants and cafes. 10 minute taxi or metro ride into the centre. "
