โLoved this little hotel which was walking distance from a lot of food and shopping as well as the cathedral and other sites. Beautiful garden, nice bar, and delicious breakfast.โ
โHave stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonaldโs.โ
โThis has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for dog walking. It has a restaurant next door that serves excellent food sourced locally. A bit more expensive than a pub chain but well worth it. The same with the breakfast which was excellent.
And the bonus is we could eat in the dog friendly area with our dog.โ
โFair pricing...was allocated room 10 which is way up..room was a bit hot...a fan would be appreciated otherwise our stay was up to standards considering the money we also paid. Very clean roomโ
โWe had an amazing stay, the Old Vine is a beautiful historic building in central Winchester. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great, thebathroom was large and very clean. We had breakfast in our room which was delicious and hot and plentiful. All the staff were great and very attentive.โ
โPlug in sink jammed, couldnโt have a wash.
So hot, no air conditioning.
Shower was great.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice.
Next door was very noisy.โ
โWe arrived late and stayed for one night after a wedding nearby.
Was so glad for the spacious car park because I was absolutely shattered and it was so dark.
We stayed in a twin room with double and single bed. The single wasn't quite as plush as the double and my daughter was so disappointed she wasn't allowed to sleep in the big bed! The single was a bit hard but not too bad. I was grateful for the extra pillow in the wardrobe as they were a bit flat for me.
The shower head holder was loose...
